Job Offering Advertised Online, First Quarter 2025

The number of online job offerings advertised in the first quarter of 2025 declined by 4.9 per cent to 263,083, compared with 276,624 job offerings in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Job Offering Advertised Online for Major Group Occupation

Nearly half of the online job offerings were concentrated in the Professional category, accounting for 48.0 per cent or 126,255 job offerings in the first quarter of 2025, compared with 133,206 job offerings in the fourth quarter of 2024. In terms of occupational categories, Managers recorded 46,638 job offerings, followed by Technicians and Associate Professionals with 42,382 job offerings. Higher demand was observed for Advertising and Marketing Professionals (21,411 job offerings), Managing Directors and Chief Executives (13,088 job offerings), Administrative Associate Professionals (13,001 job offerings), Accountants & Auditors (9,462 job offerings) and Administrative Professionals (7,996 job offerings).

Job Offering Advertised Online for Economic Activities

The Wholesale and Retail Trade sub-sector recorded the highest number of job offerings at 38,061. Meanwhile, the Administrative and Support Service Activities sector registered 25,723 job offerings, followed by Professional, Scientific and Technical Activities with 25,238 job offerings, Financial and Insurance/Takaful Activities with 18,917 job offerings, and the Manufacturing sector with 17,108 job offerings
